Julian Brown

Julian Brown (38) is a Director of Honeymyrtle Pty Ltd and a Senior Enterprise Account Manager of a Billion Dollar US based business software organisation. Father of two, and himself the youngest of five children from a prominent philanthropic family, who's members include a former Federal Cabinet Minister and Australian of the Year, Julian's credo is that opportunity is a gift bestowed on few yet owed to all.

Julian brings to the Kalandan Foundation a lifetime of horsemanship as an avid breeder of Arabian endurance horses, skills as a company director, an enviable business network, and a proven track record of fundraising for charity's he has supported including; Youth Off The Streets, The Sport & Tourism Youth Foundation, & Red Kite.

Mark Burrows

Mark Burrows is a valued member of the Kalandan Foundation board who brings with him a wealth of knowledge and experience in corporate business. Having been a Chairman, Managing Director and Director of many of the worlds leading companies including Fairfax, Lazard, Brambles Industries Limited, Burns Philp & Company Limited and Carter Holt Harvey Limited to name a few.

Mark also chaired the Audit and Risk Committee in the 2005 financial year and was a member of the Nominations Committee of the Board. Mark is also a horseman having had an interest in horses all of his life and is an avid supporter, breeder and owner of the Australian Stock Horse.

Marc Taylor

Marc Taylor has worked in the IT industry for the past 20 years. He has spent the last 11 years working for a large American based financial company. He is looking forward to helping get the Kalandan Foundation up & running to its full potential. Marc brings his 20 years of business experience to the board. He has a keen interest in horsemanship and charity work

Kristyna Silova

Kristyna Silova (32) was born in Prague in the Czech Republic. She had worked for ten years as an Architect/ Engineer in the Czech Republic and the last two years as an Environmental Engineer in Australia. Kristyna is currently finishing her PhD in Environmental Science.

Kristyna brings to the Kalandan Foundation all of her know-how and experience she has gained in her professional life. She is also passionate about horses and has always been interested in helping disadvantaged youth.
